Spinal Surgery
Being admitted to hospital for a spinal operation can be a worrying and frightening time, much of this anxiety is down to a lack of information available about your condition, and the proposed operation
The following pages will hopefully provided information about the nature of some of the more common spinal operations that are performed, including the aims of the surgery, results, and your likely recovery
My general philosophy about spinal operations is to perform surgery in a minimally invasive fashion, this means small incisions with little damage to surrounding tissues, and thus a shortened time in hospital and more rapid recovery
